Founded in 2002, Trust-IT's central asset is a highly-skilled, dynamic, international team that performs quality ICT market research and result-oriented stakeholder communication and engagement strategies. It also develops software tools and services working closely with SMEs, the government and research institutions. Trust-IT is committed to driving forward new ideas, pinpointing market opportunities, creating a multi-stakeholder partnership and building international networks and communities. It has gained high-level of expertise in the ICT areas, covering both the technological and human interaction aspects, and creating innovative business models and exploitation plans.

Research expertise

Currently, Trust-IT focuses its expertise into democratising access to complex technological knowledge and instruments, by developing effective communication strategies, engagement plans that provide a simple entry point in particular for SMEs and small teams in research and public administration in strategic ICT areas such as cybersecurity, ICT energy efficiency, cloud computing and research infrastructures.

Role in PHIDIAS

Trust-IT will lead the activity regarding "Dissemination, Impact and Sustainability Path", whose main objective is to disseminate the project's results, maximise its impact, raise awareness for scientific communities, citizens and policymakers and ensure replicability and sustainability of the services. It will be in charge of the communication and outreach activities, of the engagement with user and stakeholder communities, of the EU-wide cross-dissemination and concertation and the sustainability path and funding models.

Julie Abergas-Arteza (F) is a Marketing Analyst and communication and dissemination officer for various European research and innovation projects around the domains of HPC, FAIR data, Research Data Alliance (RDA), Cybersecurity and privacy, next-generation internet (NGI) and the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). She specialised in Electronics and Communications Engineering (Hons) at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, with a Yellow Belt certification and Green Belt trained Lean Six Sigma Practitioner from a major consulting company in the Philippines for data, statistics and innovation projects. She is presently involved in the Cyberwatching.eu, MaX CoE & EOSCsecretariat projects.

Francesco Osimanti (M) is a Project Manager & SEO Copywriter. He is in charge of the development of Communication and Dissemination Strategies for a wide array of clients with special focus on content creation and on-site SEO. He obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Affairs & Politics (2008) at the University of Pisa. He has moved his career forward through several European NGOs, mostly in the Netherlands & Northern Ireland, as Project Assistant and Communication Officer. He is currently actively involved in Trust-IT on European funded projects on communication and dissemination focused within the areas of cybersecurity and privacy and ICT Standards.
